Days 31 - 32: Erie cottage

The past few days have been incredibly relaxing, though they somehow flew by! On Wednesday, our first full day at the cottage, we lounged around . . .

(Scott tried on his souvenir, a cheesy Mt. Rushmore hat)

. . . ate a lot . . .

. . . hung out with my Dad’s mom Grandma Mirmie (who is 93!) . . .

and rented “Pirates of the Caribbean.”

Yesterday, we did more of the same but in the evening, Steve and I took my brother to the Peninsula where we went for a run and then a quick swim. The weather was beautiful!

The three of us then went to see the second “Pirates” movie at the theatre and brought home pizza for a late-night snack . . .

. . . and then had a bonfire.

It was a great, quintessential Erie day!
